This policy explains what personal data Signitize ("we") collects when you use www.signitize.io and the Signitize API, and why.
1. What we collect
- Account data: your name, email address and, optionally, your company.
- Payment records: plan, amount, date and PayPal transaction reference. We never see your card or bank details.
- Usage and logs: the number of checks per month, and technical logs (IP address, request details, errors) kept for security and troubleshooting.
2. Email addresses you check
Addresses sent to the API are processed to produce the result and are not stored. We only keep the domains we detect as disposable (throwaway) mail services, so the next address at those domains is caught faster.
3. How we use it
To provide the Service, deliver your API key, process payments, send service emails (key links, payment confirmations, renewal reminders), prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your data or send marketing emails.
4. Who we share it with
Only with service providers that help us run the Service, under confidentiality and only for that purpose: hosting, email delivery, and PayPal for payments. These providers may process data in other countries. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
5. Retention
We keep account data while your account exists and delete it when you ask, except records we must keep by law (such as payment records). Logs are deleted after a short period.
6. Security
API keys and key links are stored only as one-way hashes, and all traffic is encrypted (HTTPS).
7. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data. Write to [email protected] from your account's email address so we can confirm it is you.
8. Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The website only remembers your light/dark theme preference.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18.
10. Changes
We will publish updates on this page and email account holders about material changes.
